Municipal Housing Authority
Problem:

A Municipal Housing Authority, a non-profit public real estate holding company, of a city of approximately 775,000 people was audited and found to have out-of-date and inefficient maintenance practices.  The auditors engaged Triboro to evaluate the Housing Authority’s current practices and recommend a strategy to improve efficiency.

Solution:

The auditors engaged Triboro to evaluate the Housing Authority’s current practices and recommend a strategy to improve efficiency. One of the many improvements Triboro implemented included a strategy for streamlining the Housing Authority’s vacancy turnover procedures, eliminating redundancies, reducing costs, and ensuring that every unit is “rent-ready.” In addition to these streamlined turnover procedures, Triboro created a Procedures Manual that completely overhauled the Authority’s management of their existing inventory system.
